PHATOPHY, for PHArmacology-TOxicology-PHYsiology is an independent GLP accredited  CRO for analytical and animal studies, founded in 1981 and located for more than ten years within the Veterinary School of Lyon (France).

Approved for several decades and specialized in providing various activities and services to Animal Health industry for R&D related to veterinary drugs, vaccines, feed additives, etc..., PHATOPHY widened its competences to other Human field applications and particularly in oncology, dermatology, endocrinology, biomaterials and cosmetics. For several months now, PHATOPHY has been a member of the European Center of Dermocosmetology and provides to this industry its experience in analytical services and tolerance studies.

Our team consists of many graduated and experienced Scientists (DVM, PhD Animal Physiology, Master in chemical analysis, Master BEA, etc), dispatched in 5 departments : In-life Phase, Bioanalysis, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance.

 

Highly implicated in the management of the studies and experienced in the organization of multi-site studies, our team of Study Directors can provide :

-Animal phases for any species, from mice to lactating cow, for Pharmacokinetic studies (ADME, Bioavailability, Bioequivalence), residue depletion, tolerance, toxicological evaluation, biocompatibility, proof of concept, challenge tests, etc… in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

-Determination of drug levels in any biological matrices as blood, serum, plasma, urine, faeces but also milk, eggs, tissues, etc…with development and validation of the HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS/MS analytical methods

-Tests and controls  (Pharmacopoeia and others) related to the quality of finished products, with stability studies in various conditions of temperature and hygrometry, degradation products determination, dissolution and disintegration studies, development and validation of analytical methods

In order to fulfill the specific requirements of your projects in the best adapted way, PHATOPHY has developed during a long time a lot of partnerships specialized in their field of application as medical imaging, exploratory surgery, anatomo- and histo- pathology, parasitology, immunology, etc… but also with other test sites for housing animals on which our Study Directors and investigators can operate.

PHATOPHY is resolutely focused on innovative projects in R&D with constantly looking for new investigation methods to be applied in order to reduce in vivo approaches and so to favorize in vivo tests but also for obtain more tolerated medicinal products by using new excipients, drug delivery systems, biodegradable biomaterials, etc…

Our offices, laboratories and storage room are under restricted and secured access, with GSM alarm 24/24 hours and 7/7days for any equipment dedicated to stability studies or samples storage.
